1.Introduction

The primary purpose of the use of electronic surveillance is to protect human life, limb and personal freedom, to safeguard dangerous substances, to protect business, payment, banking and securities secrecy, and to protect assets.

For the above purposes, the organisation uses a camera surveillance system, but the camera surveillance is carried out with respect for human dignity.

The organisation aims to fully comply with the legal requirements for the processing of personal data, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council.

This Privacy Notice has been prepared pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of personal data of natural persons and on the free movement of such data, in light of the provisions of the EU Directive 2011. CXII. the content of the law on the right to information self-determination and freedom of information.

4.Where the cameras work

The electronic surveillance system is used exclusively to monitor parts of buildings, premises and areas owned (or used) by the company or events that take place there.

The organisation uses the following cameras:

5.Where, when and how the recordings are stored

The organisation will store the camera recordings at the place of operation, normally for 3 working days. In exceptional circumstances, the storage period may be extended to 30 days. The data is stored electronically.

6.Legal basis for data processing

The consent of the persons being monitored, including employees, is not required for the lawfulness of the processing of data by the CCTV system.

7.Purpose of data processing

8.Purpose of use of the recordings

The use of recordings from the electronic surveillance system is only possible for the purpose of identifying or verifying events relevant to the specific purpose of the processing.

9.Data security

The data of the electronic surveillance system can only be viewed by authorised persons, after the expiry of the storage period the data of the camera system will be automatically deleted (overwritten).

10.Persons entitled to access the data

The designated employees of the data controller are entitled to access the recordings.

11.Transmission and transfer of data – records

The camera system data can only be transmitted to the location specified by the authority if requested by the authority.

12.Rights of persons under surveillance

The data subject may exercise the right to lodge a complaint with the controller, the supervisory authority and the National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.

13.Enforcement options

14.Other important information

The organisation draws the attention of interested parties – workers and other individuals – to the fact that it has published an awareness-raising information on the operation of the CCTV system in the area.

The organisation hereby informs clients and employees who have any contact with it that it operates a CCTV surveillance system for the purposes indicated in this notice.

The organisation does not use hidden cameras.

The use of electronic surveillance does not pose a high risk to the rights and freedoms of natural persons because the surveillance is not carried out in a public place, the purpose of the surveillance is not to influence the behaviour of natural persons, the processing is only for the purposes for which it is intended, the availability of the data is regulated and the data are stored securely and in accordance with the current technical standards, including protection against unauthorised or unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction or damage.
