Originally released in 2006, My Chemical Romance’s The Black Parade album is a rock opera centering on a dying character with cancer known as „The Patient”. It tells the story of his apparent death, experiences in the afterlife, and subsequent reflections on his life.
The album has since gone triple platinum, featuring hit single such as ‘Welcome to the Black Parade’.
